Case Study: CLD Beauharnois-Salaberry (Beauharnois-Salaberry EDO)
The challenge: The region of Beauharnois-Salaberry played (and still play) a major role in the Canadian industrial landscape of the early 20th Century along the Saint-Lawrence River. But as time goes by, what we think will never change always does. The region had to face challenging news from major industrial employers and therefore, needed to look at ways to help the region with this complex issue which impacts the social and economic fabric. Authorities were ready to help specific projects but they had to start from complex events and break it down into action/results oriented projects to get funded.
The solution: For the CLD Beauharnois-Salaberry (Beauharnois-Salaberry EDO), we helped to simplify complex business issues and intentions into a clear strategy and comprehensive projects which obtained several financing from federal grants. We provided intellectual capital as well, advising on content specific aspects of projects.
The end result: Since 2006, our work with the CLD Beauharnois-Salaberry led successfully to the funding of several special projects. Those projects have helped the organization achieve a better positioning of their services to the community and plant seeds for the future.
